    Prof. Erasmus H. Owusu, an Associate Professor in Conservation Science at the University of Ghana, possesses a PhD in biodiversity management from the University of Kent, UK. He is the Director of the Centre for Climate Change and Sustainability Studies, and former Head of Department of Animal Biology and Conservation Science. With 24 years of experience, he has led UNDP and World Bank-funded conservation projects, including Ghana's Important Bird Areas initiative. Prof. Owusu has taught Conservation Biology, Animal Ecology, and supervised student projects, amassing 41 journal articles and international roles such as AEWA's Technical Committee representative.
